This recipe is as simple as the ingredients in the title. I made it up quick on the spot because I had a huge watermelon that needed to be consumed or it would go to waste. I made something similar last summer with a berry lemonade and it seemed to be a hit, so I based this one off of it.
I had a few people on instagram ask me for the recipe, so here it is ladies!
You will need:
Lemonade (I used Santa Cruz Organic, but a frozen concentrate will suffice as well)
Seedless Watermelon (I used half of a large melon)
Mint (optional)
1. Pour lemonade into a large pitcher.
2. Chop up half of a large watermelon. Blend (or juice) watermelon.
3. Pour watermelon juice through a fine strainer into the pitcher.
4. Stir
5. Sprinkle mint leaves, I used some I just had growing in my kitchen.
6. Serve chilled
Hope this was easy enough. If anyone can tell me what kind of mint leaves I have, I would appreciate it. It was some kind of wild mint I transplanted to a pot at my house.
