Provision

1 Kings 17 has hit home pretty hard. I have had provision from places I didn't expect and Elijah had food flown in via ravens! Most of the time I feel like the widow who feels like she has nothing left to give and is down on her luck (minus the whole preparing to die part, haha) but then this woman seems to have more trust and gives up her food to a strange dude and God provides! He heard our cries and He provided.
My prayer has been repeatedly "God please do not give me what I want but what I need." I have been provided for time and time again and then some that I don't 'need.' It has been quite the adventure!


Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord; Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord
---I find it funny that he says wait 2x's. Because I certainly need to be reminded and reassured.

These are my ramblings of God's goodness and provision as of late.

    Hey pretty much what I was going to say was what Mandy said minus the husband getting a ticket part:)
    This post is awesome and I totally needed to hear the what I NEED part not what I WANT. God doesnt make mistakes and knows what he is doing, but I get scared like everyone else about how I am going to survive another day. But I am so truly blessed to have A. amazing supporting family and B. a loving and guiding hand from my Father.

    I am the same about ranting so I enjoy reading it too:)
    Also cant wait to check out your etsy!!!
